Facilitative Leadership® Tapping the Power of Participation
Education and Business settings today require that leaders involved those with whom they work in the decision
making process. Facilitative Leadership® is a three day workshop that helps
participants operationalize shared decision making by offering opportunities to explore specific practices, skills, and tools that empowers others to work together to achieve common goals.
The Seven Practices of Facilitative Leadership enable leaders of school districts, leaders of schools, and leaders of classrooms to tap into the creativity and experience of those with whom
they work or teach. Building small agreements is a fundamental process underlying the Seven Practices of Facilitative Leadership.
Annual Statewide Conference
The key for success in school improvement planning is to have teams that the information, resources and skills needed to focus on student achievement.
The Network provides that opportunity through its annual state conference that is just for school improvement teams to work on their plans using their data with consultants available to provide
support, guidance and assistance. Teams from across the state come together bringing their school and student data, computers and energy and spend two and a half days working and learning together.
The latest up to minute information is provided them along with motivational speakers and state leaders.
Sharing Day
Sharing success and learning from each is the bottom-line with the Sharing Days sponsored by the Network. This provides a forum for representatives from across the Network
to share what they are doing to support student achievement in their schools and districts. This is featured as a one day drive in workshop with featured speakers and break sessions for sharing
and learning.
